The Pre-licensing Course can be completed in a classroom or via virtual classroom or distance learning. If you choose to enroll in the classroom version you will receive an MV-278 Pre-licensing Certificate of Completion. All courses have the same syllabus, regardless of the version you choose to take. If you are able to successfully complete your course, the instructor will report your completion to the DMV immediately and you will not require a certificate when appearing for your driver's exam.
